Just got done with cleaning my car. I've resprayed one of the wheelarches due to blemishes and now we have a 2.5 inch back box made by Powerflow which completes near enough what i want to do to the car visually (apart from de-strip the rear bumper and fill with black mesh) Hope you like them, see you at MGM 2003.

Like the rear number plate...where d'ya get them size ones from then?
I think the engine bay is the best pic ;) Don't know why you'd want to mesh the rear bumper though...you'd be able to see daylight through it!

The rear number plate came from Souls of Olney which was the original dealer for this car. Simon Heap obtained them so thanks to him. The front i've fitted a cut down item as the larger style significantly reduces the amount of air getting to the radiator and the intercooler. As for seeing daylight under the back of the car with mesh, its kinda dark under there so i dont think it would be a problem...;)

Car looks good Gareth. You seem to have different MGF alloys on it every time I see a picture of it?

Are teh extra pipes designed to get more air into the engine?

Oh yes! And the extra pipe seems to work very well. Interestingly, i mentioned in a previous post i managed to go off the speedo, well tonight i thought i would see if i could better that, unfortunatly the best i got was 5600rpm in 5th. Which worked out is a real 140mph. Seem sthe new exhaust is working very well, the mesh on the front bumper however, less so, as it causes a lack of airflow to the rad and intercooler so this has now been removed and the difference is noticable, with the temp gauge never going above 1/4 at speed.
