All members are invited to attend, and as usual there will be plenty of free parking and free entry to the museum. Please ensure you bring your membership cards with you to claim your free entry and to entitle you to vote! (Non-members are of course welcome to attend with you, but will not be entitled to vote).
Afterwards, we will be holding our Christmas Social, at The Malt Shovel, Gaydon - please see this thread (http://www.maestro.org.uk/forums/showthread.php?t=15290) for further details.

Could I ask that you indicate in this thread whether you are planning on attending the AGM? Will help if we have a brief idea of numbers for refreshment purposes.
I'll begin - I'll be there! So anyone gonna help me eat the biscuits? ;)
Cheers,
Chris

Hi Rich, I can see your L reg 700 is scrapped, can I ask why? is she beyond recovering?

Oh good lord she was beyond it poor old girl, she had spent a year parked up on a pier every night, so every seem had gone. There were holes to the a pillars around the screen, both door shuts, up and around the lock pin and up to the gutter, both arches were non existent, both inner and outer sills to the cab were through, you could see the road when I took the carpet out, there was accident damage to the front bumper, bonnet, front panel and passenger wing, passenger door would not open fully due to the damage. I only just scraped the last mot and she was never gonna make another. A very sad day when I had to brake her. Mechanically she was superb, and she drove like a dream, even after 210k or thereabouts but the bodywork was just to much really to save. I kept everything worth saving, and the engine and box and other parts will be used again. I do miss her :( I have some photos of the state of her, which I will try and put up soon

The Ledbury in theory is my dads, he uses it when he's in the uk, one is my daily hack, one is being re-built and the other has a rusty bottom :(
What time can we get to the museum, if the agm starts at one, can we be there earlier? What times roughly is everyone else getting there?

As per previous years, the museum is open to the public anyway, so you can arrive earlier if you want a walk around before the meeting starts. If you say you are attending the M&MOC AGM when you get to the main desk, you'll get in for free.
