Hi all

I've just got back from the Prestatyn car show (see my Facebook page for details/photos). While I was there, I got talking to this bloke from Runcorn council. He is organising a convoy over Runcorn Bridge (Silver Jubilee Bridge) to celebrate the 50yrs of the bridge. They want cars to represent each decade from 1930's to present day, and asked if I could represent the 1980's. I explained that the club might also be interested and he thought it was a great idea.

From what he said, you need a ticket to do the convoy but they're FREE. Tickets are needed because the local police will block off certain roads around the bridge and the bridge itself. The police won't let you through unless you have a ticket. The bloke even said that the convoy is being filmed and will be on tv!!!

If anyone is interested, I have applications forms for both individuals and for the club if enough of us are interested.
