Hi folks,
I have been discussing brake kits for Monty`s and Maestros` on the MGM BBS. The following has happened as a result...
OK I spoke to my Engineer today. Here is a breakdown of PROVISIONAL prices. I will confirm all prices when I know how many people are interested. The below are for 10 sets.
Basic kit consisting of:
2x 280mm ventilated discs
2x mounting brackets
2x washers
2x bolts
£115 THIS IS A PROVISONAL PRICE
OR
2x 280mm crossdrilled ventilated discs
2x mounitng brackets
2x washers
2x bolts
£165 THIS IS A PROVISONAL PRICE
The above price are based on Corrado G60 280mm discs, with existing retaining screw welded up and 4 no. new stud holes redrilled to correct Maestro/Montego PCD and then 2 no. retaining screws redrilled. The Disc matches the OE disc for hub size. ( I have have offered up the new disc to the OE disc and they match visually)
Either disc will fit straight on and existing retaining screws can be used in conjunction with bracket.
I can get hold of new Rover pads for a resonable price if people require them.
Please note that I am an indivudual operating on a bulk buy basis. The above prices (provisonal) are based on firm preorders only for 10 sets. i.e. 10 people send me a cheque and they will be made up within 1 week and delivered. I require 2 sets and Gareth has confirmed his set too. Therefore the first 7 people to send a cheque for the above provisonal costs will be the lucky owner of the Pegasus Autoworks Big Brake Kit :-)
However, I want to make the price even better. Now because this is a bulk i am told that the price will decrease further with more orders. Therefore if we can gain more then 10 orders the price goes down. So tell evryone who owns a masetro or Montego that wants a tested Big brake kit for cheap let them know. The more the merrier.
Please confirm interest to myself. When i have a firm number of applicants I will ask for pre payment, Upon recipet of ALL payments the order will placed.
