I just need a few pointers to hopefully minimise the amount of work to bleed the system after removing the old and fitting the new?
I was driving today and after a bit of heavy braking the contact point was a good 3-4 inches lower than before so the cylinder is deffo buggered.
TIA

Hi Phil. LH front first followed by RH rear, then RH front and finaly LH rear. I use a hand vac pump to suck the air out and the fluid through.
Hope this helps

Hey Russ, yeah cheers for that, I'll write it down for tomorrow. I had to change one on the monty estate, I just remember it being a bit of a pig to bleed through after so any tips are great!

I'll look at getting another pump attachment as my current one seems to want to leak fluid everywhere!

I got a sealey one a couple of years back,it was £30 but you got a free multimeter worth £20 with it! The good thing about vac pumps is you can use them for other things like testing the fuel pressure reg.
Ive never had too much bother with maestro brakes, metros are a nightmare 3 blead nipples on EACH front calliper!
