well, the MG1600 has broken down again!

this time it has snapped a clutch cable, just a quick question....

do the R and S series use the same clutch cable? or are they different?

Hi

I don't have access to the parts catalogue but I think if someone was able to check for you I think the R & S series part no.s will be different because all the early Maestro cars had manually adjusting cables not self-adjusting. Iam not 100% sure but I think you would be able to use the later self-adjusting cable on an early Maestro without any problems, because both the pedal fittings & the gearbox fittings are the same for both types.

Im guessing this would do for a maestro turbo? if so i might end up needing to buy it...
