This forum just isnt the same without steve on it.

His enthusiasm for the cars he owns was second to none.

Can I be the first, and surly not the last to ask steve to come back to the forum.

Here, here, I second that notion! Still, I am sure that his enthusiasm for the cars he owns is still continuing whether on or off the forum, this is the important thing surely?
'Tis a shame he went though, should start a campaign like "Free the Weatherfield One!"
Apologies for my attempt at humour...... :shoot:

Ricky.

I'm afraid that there probably won't be a huge following to "free the worsley one" as he left of his own accord and he is free to return whenever he wants. No-one forced him to leave and so long as people obey the forum rules then everybody is welcome.

Steve Worsley is one of the younger members of the Club, and has been a very active Forum member until recently.

See this (http://www.maestro.org.uk/forums/showthread.php?t=1330) , it is Steve's last post to date.

You can search for 'posts by user' (or similar) using 'F170 GGT' (his username on the Forums) to see Steve's Posts, should you so wish.

Steve 'were proper bo I tell thee'!! Free the salford one!!

Steve owns F170GGT (as stated above) This is a maestro special in absolutly imaculate condition. It was a clear winner in the 2003 forum awards for 'car of the year' voted for by the members of this very forum.

There are many pictures of F170GGT on this here forum for your viewing pleasure.

Also owned by Steve is probably the tidyest Ledbury Maestro in the club, this is cared for with the same attention to detail as his special. I only say Ledbury as thats what most know it as, however, steve would be the first (if he was here) to correct you and say that it is actually a 'parkway' maestro, as this is the name of the company who made them, (ledbury is only the name of the town they were built in). Calling those cars Ledbury Maestros would be like calling my 1990 LX a 'Cowley Maestro LX'.

Steve had some issues with other members of the forum, it wouldn't be right for me to say anythingelse on this matter but you can always ask him yourself via Email.

I see no point in mentioning this, it was discussed, rather embarrassingly for some of us, in a previous thread (see [removed link]
for details) up to mid-March 2004. There have been other, errm, discussions regarding this matter as well.

I thought this matter had been laid to rest?

Only because in every post he made he would attach a picture to it...

flipping eck, Id forgotton about that stuff, (i dont know why youve fetched that up again) I was refering to a disagreement between steve and a few other members regarding posts about fog lights being switched on or off.

I see that stuffs still on your mind about the argument in the rather gruesome thread you refer to. Its been long forgotten by steve that stuff.

please dont try and start another argument with me, unlike last time I wont rise to your baiting....... Unlucky my friend!

Why?

I'm not starting an argument about anything, least of all an absent Forum Member, ie Steve, who is more than capable of defending himself should he wish to do so. I think it inappropriae to discuss Steve in his absence, basically, especially anything even remotely negative.

I thought these matters had been laid to rest anyway?

Just let sleeping dogs lie.

I supose its that naughty little friend thats started this then? I left a note to say email steve if you wanted to know what happened. Why you needed to jump to a conclusion and throw a link in to that thread I dont know..... Also You have as good as opened up a locked thread again, which is something I know jon dissaproves of as I recieved a PM from him stating so. presumably you will now recieve the same warning.

That stuff was dead and buried and youve fetched it right into the present. Im very disapointed that this has happened.

I hope steve comes back soon, the mood has gone right down hill since he left

Comments noted. I repeat, I am not starting an argument with anybody.

PS, d209shh, look what you've started!!! only kidding :) , it's a measure of how seriously I'm taking this. I'm not falling out with anybody.

's ok mate, no ones seriously fallen out here, just a typical disagreement / discussion. It happens usually where personal oppinions are strong. just one of those things

also some people will argue black is white if they have to its just one of those things, If this was really heated you would know about it! lol

Andy ;)

And with that settled let's go back to topics worthy of everyone's time now, shall we?

There has been no deterioration in the mood of things at all, except where it's been caused by threads like this one, prominently involving the same contributor on almost every occasion. As it isn't serving any useful purpose to anyone I'm going to close it now. I've removed references to any similar nonsense from the past, too. I hope that's ok with you, "H48 HPE"?
