Wiper Arms

So my wiper arm snapped around the nut and I need a new one. Are they easy to get? i.e are metro/montego ones similar?

Sorry forgot to mention, it's a front wiper.

Metro and Montego ones will be different. Try a scrappy if you can. Early Maestro's had a different wiper blade connection to the more numerous later spoon type. MG Rover Part number for this is AFU 3034, but it changed to DKB 10096 for the last ones for some reason...

That reminds me, my wiper arms need replacing too - they are after-market ones from a company somewhat amusingly called "Fister", sourced from Parkway Garage, Ledbury who assembled the batch of re-imported R-51 reg Maestros. The wipers leave a 3-4" unswept area adjacent to the drivers side screen/A pillar. I am looking at the possibility of using arms from another vehicle, ideally one that uses modern flat aero blades.
