I must appologise for a gross error on my part.

In a thread in another forum I took great care and effort to type a complete and full messege, however I messed up the following line

I do hope that this answer offends you in anyway

It should have read

I do hope that this answer does not offend you in anyway .

I am very sorry for any problems I may have caused by this error and I will endevour not to make a similar mistake by following a simple course of action.

So long and thanks for all the fish.

Good Night.

Good Night.

I can see that was a simple typo error, who thought it was deliberate?

I can't honestly see the point to this thread. James, if you're hinting that you're leaving the forum - there's no need to do that. Apart from that, I can't see the need to drag up all the bad feeling all over again.

I will say this hopefully for the last time.

Post towards others as you would wish to be talked to.
I'd like to see no more petty needling. No more points-scoring. No more smug self-righteousness.

I would ask every forum member to review their recent posts, and if you think you fit into any of the above categories, tone it down and think before you hit the reply button.

I've already had one complaint that the atmosphere of the forum is going downhill. After all the work that has been put into the site and the club, I for one am not prepared to put up with the recent bad feeling. In my opinion, the atmosphere is being threatened by a very small minority, and this is ruining it for everyone.

I am hoping this appeal for calm, respect and consideration will turn things around. If not, I for one will not rest until anyone that threatens the continued success of this place is gone.

I'm going to lock this thread now - if anyone has a problem with that, then please feel free to PM me or another mod. Same goes with any other problems with the forum. Please be respectful and dignified and report posts in the proper manner without taking matters into your own hands.
