I'm not sure if this is the right place to post this so apologies if it isn't...
Does anyone have a spare wheel trim they could send me (in exchange for some beer vouchers of course)? I mean the one with the rectangular holes around the edge and the small circle in the centre. It's a 1990 1.6 L if that helps. It's the first one I've lost in 14 years... Arse :censored:
Many thanks
Matt

I'm afraid I've not got any but if you have the technology to take a picture of one and post it up then others might realise they've got a spare one lying around somewhere. There seem to be lots of different types of trims and I'm never sure how to describe them!

In all seriousness, get some 'tie wraps' to keep them on. I've used black ones on my Monty with 1988 L-spec wheeltrims (cos i'm not that fussed, really, as long as they don't go flyabout), but you can get 'clear' ones as well. For what they cost in a pack of 50, compared to cost of postage etc, well there's more beer vouchers left *hic*. :)

So has anyone got a spare one lying around?
I'm missing one of those too! Can't find one in the scrapyard either, don't think they are the most common wheel trim!
Are they on 13 or 14 inch wheels? I think they were common on the later diesels and of course ledburys

That design can be found on late Clubman Diesel's, Ledbury Maestro's and i have seen the same design in white colour on eBay (which could be resprayed).

just to be sure, this is the one I have ~

it's not mint condition (it's from a scrappy) but the scuffing is only a little around the edge.
(most of the marks you can see are fingerprints, I just washed it)
near as I can see it'll cost £2 - £3 ish to post, so .. say £5inc p&p?
(free if you can pick up, Camborne, Cornwall)

Thought I'd butt in and say that any scrapes on wheel trims can easily be sanded out and if deep, plastic filler can be used.
