Most Maestro, Montego and Metro owners will be heading to the MGM day in Coventry.

Okay, a direct answer to your question :-
I do not know anything about this event that you name, I do not look at details of events in the North East of England as it is in my opinion too far for me to travel.
I will not be attending this event that you have named as I will be attending the MAXPOWER live show at the NEC in Birmingham on Saturday 3rd July 2004 and MGM04 in Coventry on Sunday 4th July 2004. I expect most owners of the HighPo maestros, montegos and metros will also attend the MGM04 event in Coventry on Sunday 4th July 2004 and if traveling from the North East of England many will leave home on Saturday 3rd of July 2004 in the afternoon to avoid a long drive on Sunday 4th July 2004 or be leaving home early on the Morning of Sunday 4th July 2004 and as a result not attend an event the day before.
I do hope that this answer offends you in anyway and I am sorry that it does not conclusivly answer your question, it would be nice to see you and your restored car at the MGM04 event in Coventry on the Sunday 4th July 2004.

The MGM site doesn't list any show or event for the 3rd of July and FWD club don't even appear to know that we are in 2004, they still only show 2003.
This site doesn't either.

Their is a show on the 3rd of July G24 BDG you are correct and it is in the North of England
The Rover Torque Website lists this:
ALL ROVER RALLY - Hedley Farm, Tanfield, Co. Durham (opposite to Tanfield Railway). CLUB STAND.
The website advertising the event is here http://www.rover-rally.co.uk/
I do hope that is of some help for you, and good luck getting your car ready in time :)

Are new seats still available from Rover? I might be interested in buying some in the not too distant future.
