Halfords. If they don't have it on the shelf they can make any colour up in the shop. But be prepared to pay one testicle and a kidney for custom-mixed paint.

Your local motorfactors will more than likely have a racking with both spray cans and touch up sticks. The BL/Rover colours are usually represented, stretching right back to the browns, golds and oranges used in the 1970's, so I imagine you should have no difficulty getting hold of Zircon Blue.

Zircon Blue is extremely hard to get off the shelf - I have searched extensively and not managed to find one for about 8 years. Halfords haven't sold it for years and Holts discontinued it some time ago. Until recently Hycote used to list it on their website but they don't seem to stock it any more either. If you find a can in a motor factors it will be very old. The only real option is getting it mixed especially. I have also heard that the staff training in Halfords for their paint mixing tool is rather inconsistent.

I have also heard that the staff in training in Halfords for their paint mixing tool is rather inconsistent. If my Halfords are at all representative, the hardest bit is finding someone 'in' who is trained and authorised to use the mixing machine. Also, some paints only appear on their machine specifically under British Leyland, Austin, Austin-Morris, Rover, etc, ie one but not another. They can't just search on the code or the name (or at least they couldn't). When I got them to mix Oporto Red for me in 2007, they were on the point of giving up when I suggested they looked under British Leyland, and there it was...

They didn't seem to do a very good job of Opaline Green.

Google 'autopaint'. Or similar...
I found an 'autopaint' outlet locally, I'm sure a similar search will flag up something similar in your local area :) .

Halfords should have acan on the shelf.
Here is a bit of a tip if you are spraying with halfords cans (not the holts mixed paint cans) Remove the spray cap then use the spray tip from a carpet/fabirc glue can (sold in focus) This tip gives a perfect even finish and is just like using a spray gun.

Bloody hell, I knew that name rang a bell!
At Stoneleigh Resto show a week ago I picked up a couple cans of BRGreen met. and there were 3, might have been 4, small Holts 150ml cans of Zircon blue - sod, could have made myself a few bob on ebay, especially as it was only 50p a can.
Luv autojumbles. Got loads this year, including this for 50p too at Stoneleigh... I looked at the fan blade and thought where I have I seen that name, GATE? It rang a bell too. Looked a bit tatty from above.
This is how it looked as I was scanning over the 50p items...

Turned it over, brand spanking new... and then I realised...
MM fan 'motor'!:D

Anyone want the fan blade? no idea what it's for... free!
In a £2 bin was a brand new set of high performance plug leads for a Mondeo V6 24valve. I knew this was a giveaway. Sold immediately on ebay for £24 inc p/p.:D
When's the next autojumble:D ...still looking for the elusive roll of sunroof seal... one day.
