If my front shocks are 260mm, the larger of the two sizes, do I take it that my rears will be 181mm instead of the smaller 151mm?

264mm - to be precise.
Rears could be 181, 157 - or rarer 161.
Get the tape measure out.:D

Wonderful, many thanks for that. I am not near my car at the mo so I can't measure and as the last time the shocks were change was 5 years ago, we don't do too many miles...this year is just by 4K.

As far as I know all the shocks are interchangeable, so you can custom spec your ride height. I went for the lowest front and back with lowered uprated springs. I used Kayaba gas shocks (KYB) made in Japan. They are amazingly cheap for gas shocks and are good quality seeing as Triumph Motorcycles use KYB front forks and rear shocks on some models. I have the KYB parts list with all the different part no's for all the different ride heights if you need to know.
