when wired, it will make the back wiper wipe once when you put the car into reverse gear.
you need a standard car relay ,on the relay you have the numbers 85,86,87 and 30/51 ,4 pins
connect 85 to the wire going to the reversing light bulb(green/brown wire)pin 86 goes to earth ,87 is the power wire, take it off the wiper curcuit (the red and light green) and connect 30/51 into the wire that runs between the wiper swich and the wiper programmed wash/wipe unit which i am afraid is all so red and light green

Reverse lights that work when i engage reverse gear would be nice before i even begin to mess with automatic wipers!

Good idea for the winter months - and if you can stand the screech of the wiper on a warm summers day!

If you wire it right, it will only 'sweep' once when the wipers are in operation... details in the Supplement (chapter 12?) of the Haynes Montego Manuals (not engine manual) that cover the range to the '95M models.:p
