maestro knocking noise

hi guys

my maestro has started making a knocking noise if I try reversing up a hill and so on. i sounds like an engine mount but not sure.

anyone fot any info?

Hi, where is the noise coming from? If rear, is the exhaust knocking on the axle? My Monty is doing that at the mo. If front, could be arb mounts shot, or an engine mount.

Exhaust tapping on the subframe is common on 2 litre cars if the exhaust isn't adjusted quite right.

Otherwise engine mounts would be my next suspect.
