Not many parts are shared.
Early metros used the same headlights as the maestro vans
The interior lights are the same and probably a few more off bits but nothing substantial.

Door Handles swap across OK, I think

...but not the boot locks. Steering wheels are swappable, and some people are known to fit a smaller MG Metro steering wheel to an MG Maestro for a reason I've yet to figure. Our MG Maestro doesn't (yet) have PAS and frankly you need all the help you can get at parking speeds, which the way I understand leverage means bigger steering wheels.

Ive got the smaller metro wheel, looks more or less the same but feels better.Years ago I had a mk1 metro turbo one on my maestro turbo.Didnt look that great but felt great.
Other metro parts that fit- (assuming this is a mk2 metro) Column switches, hrw/rear wash wipe same as mk1 early mk2 maestro, door locks and handles ,inside door pulls and window winders, seat belt stalks, cdl motors , and if its a 1.3 cyl heads ,dizzy and alternator.
Not a great amount but if you can get stuff free you may aswell have it.
