Most Users Online

Hi,

Just had a thought - would it be possible to reset the 'Most Users Onine' counter because if I remember correctly the present figure is artificially inflated by search engines or something.

I just thought it'd be interesting to get an up to date figure.

I also know that you probably have far more important and time-consuming stuff to do to the site so don't worry if not!

I've had a quick look and I'm afraid the short answer is "No". I can't see any easy way of resetting it. The beauty of these forums is that virtually anything's possible when you know how, I'll try and remember to investigate further next time I'm working behind the scenes :)

Maximum number of users I've ever known to be online was about 20.

I have similar problems here at work where I administrate the helpdesk software used to log all our IT issues on a database. The software writers have hidden the various libraries of data all over the place so a simple job like purging a database results in about 3 hours of down time while I delete/overwrite a whole list of seeingly unrelated files.

Drives you bonkers doesn't it?!

At least the 'currently online' bit works and that's more interesting anyway!
