Hello All!
Please excuse me as i'm quite new to the world of my Maestro Van! However i still love it to bits - it's my first car!
Unfortunately though, as i was driving the other day, the CV joint(?) on my front right-hand-side wheel decided it didn't want to work anymore...
The next problem was that, as a relatively new driver, i had no breakdown cover (sorted now dont worry hehehe), which meant i had to drive it on the broken joint
This obviously caused more problems and now i've been told i need an entire new drive-shaft and a new front hub assembly. The only thing is, there aren't any maestro vans in any of the breakers yards in my area... :censored:
I've been told however, that a rig from a similar size montego should do the trick, but as this is only word of mouth, i thought i should come here and ask some people in the know!
So, can i use old montego parts? Or do i have to order new parts?
Many thanks for any useful info!
Laurence
