Hi, my names Mark I work for Mini Technique, in Pilling near Lancaster, we are a Mini, Rover & Austin Rover specialist. This is my first entry I am new to this site.

Had a bit of a busy week this week stripped the guts of a Maestro Diesel, so we could put the engine into a Monty Estate, for one of our works vehicles. Got quitea few good parts, and a nice set of gti seats as well from it. A few weeks ago we pull the engine from a rover 100, so we finished stripping that, the scrap man came and cut them both up with an angle grinder and loaded them up. Finished welding the big holes in my Metro GTI for its MOT so I can take my mini off the road, could get in passed its emitions, so ended fitting a lamba and CAT. Still would not pass so ended up pouring nail varnish remover into the tank and thrashing the daylights out of it again, it just passed. Yea! I can begin re-building my mini, but not yet the GTI has funny noise coming from the gearbox, may end up putting a box in this week. I will get my mini started. Got a rover 800 to strip this week, and to sort the shelves as its been a bit cold it the stores over winter, just been dumping parts up there.
