monday i noticed water in the passenger foot well on the ledbury (used to be drivers footwell) after leaving it a few days was sorting a few other things on it i decided to take up the carpet and underneath was loads of green stuff which had since been cleared out the rubber plugs in the floor where very lose so i changed them for some new ones i got ages ago.. also where the steerign rack used to be was a blanking plate this was removed as strangly wasnt any seal have sealed this now and also fitted 2 bolts where the old pedal box was. the amount of water in the foot well can not of come from any where else but out side (monday was very very wet) this is where i hope the water has come from.. have checked the heater pipes all is ok. has any one else with a ledbury had this trouble ?

i think ledburys are prone to leaks as i have also got one on the windscreen at the top and one in the boot (but i think i've sorted that one)

i got about a litre of water in my boot no idea where its come from could be coming from where the bumper sits against body its not the boot seal as its a good seal ..

mine was coming in from the plastic lug that holds the pastic triangle on at the back of the very rear window

Check round the light-clusers Steve: that's a common leak-spot on Maestros when their rubber seals perish. It was the same on my old ZR too, which at the time was only three years old! It's not common for them to leak through the back panel unless it's rotted out.

As John says, the seals on the rear light clusters compress and become useless. Added to that, it may, like mine, have a gap between the panels inside the light cluster space where it can then get into the rear valance. I sealed that gap up with rubberised sealant.

Take off the tailgate seal and trim at the top where it meets the headlining. Then work forwards, removing the rear grab-handles (four cross-head screws in each IIRC), then the front, then the sun visors and interior lamp. It would be best to have an assistant, in case half of it drops while the other is still up. It should just come out the back after that.
