View Full Version : Sunday Feb 15th @ "The Barn"
MG MAL

Sunday the 15th of Feb.
Looks like there may well be a gathering of the http://www.Rover800.info forum at the barn next month.
Some members of the Metro Forum and possibly the 200/400 forum may also be coming.
Theres rumours of getting a couple of bbq''s going and fresh baked cakes!
Whynot throw your own BBQ in the boot and join us?
I realise for some that its a fair distance, but we do have some who are planning to attend from glos area's as well as essex way.
I thought it might be a good start to the "pre season" period where people are testing there cars and getting them ready for the coming show season.
The Barn is located near Wetherby.
Post code is YO26 7RQ (Blind Lane)

I'd probably shimmy on up...
But I'm moving house on the 14th, so I'm not sure... Dunno if Mrs.CDX would agree with me moving away on valentines day AND dragging Mrs.CDX to Yorkshire as well...
I'm already in the dog house as I missed a Birthday in December :D

OK Guys and Gals,
Need to work out parking on the day etc, as many of the barns "residents" will be outside to ensure "rummaging room" inside.
Please start a list of who will be attending, if you are already on a list on another forum, plaese dont add your name. (I confuse easily!)

Hello.
I am intending to come to this. I will be looking for advice on head gasket repair, else looking to sell my 1994 Maestro. I will bring a full list of parts replacements for it in my 5 years of ownership. It has been good reliable transport. I also have a load of spare doors and hatchbacks.

Just a quick note to thank Mal for the warm welcome.
Shame I could not of stayed a little longer for a good ol' rummage but I am more than happy with the bonnet and rear quarter (thanks Jeff).
Look forward to coming over again for the bootlid and whatever else I can strectch to finances to.
I realised more would of arrived after I had left but it was nice to see so many people with a common interest in maintaining the fwd models, and I thought I knew a bit about them till I met you guys!! lol
See you soon and thanks again

Nope Just rent it.
Its a Shared tenency with Sean (MGTurbo#261)
Its well off the beaten path, so no one would realise whats there.
Quite hidden and secure, perfect for storing Monty's etc, but for the ruddy pidgeons! :banghead:
