Engines

does anyone know what engines would fit in my 1.6 Lx petrol, 1.3, 2.0 etc?
without much difficulty? i have a diesel engine out of my old E reg van and if i swapped the engine mountings over would it go in? what else would need to be changed?:confused:

The chassis is the same throughout the range, so as long as you swap the mountings there should be no problem. You might have to change the tank and add a return fuel line (I can't remember the specifics).

You'll have to swap the gearbox and linkage from the donor car as well.

All I can think of at the mo!

Some of the vans are a bit strange with hubs and things but I guess that the drive shafts on the car should mate to the diff on the van gearbox.
