could any tell me if the power rack from a monty estate will fit on the van body or do i need one from a maestro car

Monty and maestro power racks are the same and will both fit the van. I had a monty TD one on my TD van.

thanks for the reply etv can u get the rack out and power one in without taking the turbo off as it l;ooks very tight did u get to fit your intercooler as i would like to do one myself cheers

It is very tight,but from experience,ive always took the engine out first!!:D
Yes,it should come off,and out through the side.

Yeah as said it will come out, but it is tight.
You need to remove the support which goes from the lower arm, to chassis, to get it out, the long bolt which goes through the lower arm, is usually fouled by the oil filter, and has to be undone with a spanner.
Also, the lower arm will drop, and it may be nesecerry to remove the hub from the lower arm to get the bolt back in.

Yes the rack will come in and out if you remove the stiffening plate. Its tight but not that bad. just remember not to try to do it in a single garage!
I didn't fit the intercooler, although I'm moving onto my next project that'll definatly have at least one intercooler ;)
