Rear window demister

Hi,

could anyone gives me any clues on how to fix my rear window demister on my Diesel Maestro ? I have checked the fuse which is ok so not sure what else to check?

Does the switch light up when you turn it on?
Do you hear a click from the relay when you switch it on/off?
Are the connectors attrached to the glass on the rear screen?

Also make sure the wires that pass through by the left hand tail gate hinge are not broken. I found about two out of twelve were still ok. When I reconnected the others I acquired a heated screen, rear wash, rear wipe...;)

Thanks for the quick replys guys. Dan, the light on the switch doesn't light and there isn't a clicking noise. I will check the wires on the left hand tailgate Robert. The rear windscreen wiper works but the washer hasn't worked since I bought it :idea:

The lovely A-DCP 8988, Heated Rear Window Timer. I used to make these for a living. If your still having problems, take the unit out and bang it on a hard surface. Don't worry, they can take it. I used to throw them across the room when they didn't work.
