MG Saloon Day 2005, Stanford Hall, Lutterworth
SUNDAY 3RD JULY 2005

This year saw a return to Stanford Hall near Lutterworth. The stand this year was one of the biggest for this particular show, with the first proper outing of the 'Montego 21st Anniversary' display which included a fully working Montego Digital Dash amplied through some speakers.

Our stand had a mixture of cars this year with Montegos ranging from 1.3base to MG Turbo Saloons, including the Montego Estate which will be featuring in the Staples to Naples rally further on in the year. Maestros in attendance included a DLX, Vanden Plas, Tandy Camper Vans, a tickford turbo bodykitted 1.3LX and a MG1600 race car. Also in attendance was a Rover 200 Mk1 and a Rover Metro GTi.

Building on from last year a pre-event barbeque was held, and camping for those who came further afield or just wanted to enjoy the nights festivities
